    Im very sorry, this is typical of Chevys nowadays, there frequency of repair in most of their vehicles make them a terrible investment. From now on, please go to consumer report which yearly addresses all the vehicles and which ones are less apt to break down or give you trouble..evidently your transmission broke and this is a very expensive repair...Im sorry.

    transmission shot will be the right answer... if you have no reverse then its gone out... its a time to take it to trans shop
