I've heard the hifonics amp before to me it is under rated im running a crunch amp 1500 maxx and it sound like its doin way more than what it is rated at. But another way to pick the amp you want is look at the rating customers give and that should help you out. Maxxsonics powers crunch autotek mb quart and hifonics all of which are good.

Well first of all what size subs are you gong to use? what kind of car? are you going to have a ported or sealed box?
With the info you gave me I would use 2- 12" or 15" subs with the SOUNDSTREAM PCX1000D in a ported box if you have room 2-15" subs would be louder and hit lower.
what kind of music to you listen to?
keep me in mind if you have any other questions.

out of the 3 you mentioned, the JL's specs look to be the best. however, that 1000w is at 1.5 ohm. if you go below that you can damage the amp. you have 3 subs, but you don't mention how your going to wire them and what the final resistance will be. if you will be at 1ohm, then go with the soundstream. stay away from hifonics, they are power hunger dirty amps.
